Congratulations!

BIG congrats to CSB alumni Brittany Wright and Cody Beasley on their recent wedding! You guys are great together, did much good work in Cherokee, and will inspire countless kids over the course of your career!  All the best to you both from all the gang of CSB 2012!

Sierra Yoder

I graduated from App in December of 2011. I recently got a job in at East Iredell Elementary doing an interim in Kindergarten. While doing that, the principal offered me a job in third grade and I start on March 16! It's a Title One school and I LOVE working there! I consider myself very lucky for getting a job this quickly! I am currently living in Hickory but am looking to move to the Mooresville area. Oh and on a super exciting note, I finally got rid of my first car!

Nicole Lemmon

I am in my third year teaching 2nd grade at Brooks Museums Magnet Elementary in Raleigh. My school teaches using Paideia principles through project-based learning and Seminars and museums integration...we do a lot of really neat integrated social studies projects and some of the conversations the kids have during seminars and field trips are awesome!

Lisa Lisa

Since the Cherokee Spring Break trip in March of 2010, I have experienced a number of new things. I completed my BS in Elementary Education in May of 2011, moved to Nashville, TN in August of 2011, and had a baby in December of 2011. I am currently substitute teaching, learning a LOT, and hoping to earn a full-time teaching position in the Fall of 2012.

Rachel Smith

Rachel Smith graduated from Appalachian State in 2011 and is now teaching at A.B. Combs Leadership Magnet Elementary School in Raleigh, North Carolina. Combs is the number one magnet school in the nation!
